FAQs

  • Along with Community Education Faciliaition, Childcare for All, and Black Midwives for Black Families, we are connected to local health care providers and organizations that are aligned with our mission to end Black Maternal/Gestational Mortality and Morbidity.

  • Though I am available for virtual care, I have a list of doulas that I know and trust who do similar work to me. Feel free to schedule an interview with me. There I will get a feel for your needs and connect you with at least two local doulas who I believe will suit your family.

  • As a doula, I provide emotional, informational, and physical support during any and all of your reproductive periods of care (ex. abortion, birth control, pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum, miscarriage & loss, sex ed, etc.)

As of December 2022, I am a student midwife completing the required course work before being admitted into a Midwifery program. Midwives are able to provide clinical primary and gynecological care to their communities.

I will not be licensed as a midwife for some time but I am connected to active midwives. I learn from them as I support the families who are in their care.
