Pregnancy and Postpartum Support
Well Village Doula Package
starting at $1,200 (sliding scale and sponsored work upon request)
This virtual or in-person service includes three virtual prenatals and one in-person prenatal for our local village. We begin a 24-hour on-call period starting two weeks before and after the expected due date, with early in-home labor support if desired. We will also support your feeding goals immediately after birth through the first two hours of postpartum (aka the Golden Hour). This service also includes:
Birth Plan Consultation
Unlimited Telephone Calls and Texts
Labor and Birth support at home, hospital, or birth center
Birth and Postpartum doulas are known for providing emotional, informational, and physical support (comfort measures).
Four Postpartum Visits - up to 20 hours of support
Can be added a la carte
Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding, and/or Bodyfeeding support
Herbal Support (optional)
Childcare (optional; if not supporting you in hospital because of COVID-19)
Virtual Prenatal Care
We listen to what you are feeling to get a better understanding of what you are experiencing. Our time together will be spent talking about interventions, learning comfort measures, and planning your postpartum healing.
Childbirth Education Workshop Series
Our Well Care Collective provides community education through our one-weekend E-course with Live Instructional time, resources and referrals. Learning with others’ experiences in mind minimizes anxiety and builds community. Family, the more we learn about ourselves, the easier it is to share our wants and needs with others.
Herbal Support
As you grow and connect with pregnancy, immediate postpartum, or breast/chestfeeding, natural herb supplements will be more important for you to consider. We will follow your lead by replenishing you with herbs in the Southern Black tradition.
